Bandana is a throwback to the man Lencho once was. An improved smoother version, that is.
Behind a mask and with the benefit of state of the art spy toys and weapons, not to mention Lencho’s unlimited military and surveillance resources, Bandana walks, talks, and acts like the brave, mystical hero people have been clamoring for.
Even though he is older, he is still strong and agile.
He has what it takes to lead the Guerrilla and take back the reins of his country from, well, himself.

Bandana is not entirely like Lencho, though.
He feels like a different man when he dons the mask.
The things that have been bothering him about being the man in charge for so long are not as present.
The anger and cruel lack of empathy are dialed back (though not entirely gone).
He is cocksure and determined like Lencho, but also open to collaborate with the Guerrilla in earnest.
His face is not weary and hardened, like Lencho’s.
There is light behind those eyes.
A spring to his step.
He is lighter, the weight of an Island has been lifted off his shoulders.
This time, he is set to do things right.
This time, things will go his way. Again.
